module - Nginx: more_clear_headers alternative -

i want upgrade nginx manually stable version 1.9. version 1.4.x installed ubuntu repos. in ubuntu-package "nginx-extras" there nginx modul "more_clear_headers". use hide "server" header.

in version 1.9 comes directly nginx, module not available.

is there "out of box" alternative in nginx? don't want compile nginx manually.

(i actual searching alternative of parameter nginx soo fantastic - watch videos how easy it's configure in compare other webservers - there no core need remove headers e.g. apache since decades ;))

edit: https://github.com/gplessis/dotdeb-nginx/issues/70 => wait stable release because of other module incompatibilities.
