ide - monodevelop gdb failed to set controlling terminal -


i looked on other stackoverflow questions , said uncheck box says run on external console. , did on both run , build settings in project options. seems i'm still using external console , following error: enter image description here

i want use gdb can step debug program. i'm using ubuntu 14.04.

another quick question: how error messages output line numbers? right says following: enter image description here

this error gdb means gdb not being run controlling terminal. think safe ignore this.
