is Couchbase Lite update views(indexes) automatically when we insert new docs ? or we need to do it manually? -

i started researching on mobile embed databases , came across couchbase , awesome.still didn't understand of concepts , 1 of them how work views , queries. saying views indexes. never documented updates on new inserts , sort of things , sort of confused. if possible , please let me know overall logic , understanding behind views , queries in couchbase lite. , how many ways can use ?

basically, views indexes , updated according settings on query when run (more this one. naming not consistent between platforms right now, have 3 choices. default update view before query run. other choices update after query run, or not update @ all.
