Is there an algorithm or API for determining word type from context? -

i have input sentences such "i went cup ball." (cup verb) , "i drank milk cup." (cup noun) , need figure out whether each word noun, adjective, verb, etc application. no linguist , rather not spend days/weeks writing effective sentence parser. there exist free script or api can accomplish task? faster algorithm better because plan parse entire essays @ time.

i writing application in c#, if possible language prefered.

try stanford corenlp .net or sharpnlp. i've never used these, can't comment further. i've played nltk in python before.
